These terms apply to the HikeIt Hawaii website and mobile applications operated by Kilo Kai Solutions LLC. By using HikeIt Hawaii, you agree to these terms.

Planning information—not a safety determination

HikeIt Hawaii provides weather, UV, rainfall, stream, mud, route, access and related trail-planning information. Measurements and condition scores may be estimates based on nearby data and do not declare a trail safe, open or suitable for you. Conditions can differ along a route and change without notice.

Your responsibility

You are responsible for checking official alerts, closures, permits, posted signs and land-manager instructions; evaluating your health, skills and equipment; and making your own decision about whether to enter or continue on a trail. Do not rely on HikeIt Hawaii for emergency navigation or stream-crossing decisions. In an emergency, call 911.

Maps, access and third-party services

Routes and trailhead locations are approximate and may contain omissions or errors. Links to maps, permits, weather providers, government agencies, app stores, social networks and other third parties are provided for convenience and are governed by those services’ own terms. Access rules and fees may change.

Acceptable use and automated access

You may use HikeIt Hawaii for personal trail planning. Unless Kilo Kai Solutions LLC gives prior written permission, you may not use bots, crawlers, scrapers, automated agents or bulk requests to extract, copy, monitor or reproduce the service or its data; build or train datasets, models or competing products from it; circumvent access controls or request limits; republish or commercially exploit condition scores, summaries, calculations or compilations; disrupt the service; attempt unauthorized access; misuse its data; or present its estimates as official safety determinations. Search engines may index publicly accessible editorial and trail pages in accordance with our robots instructions, but this permission does not extend to API endpoints or bulk data extraction.

Availability and changes

We may correct, update, suspend or remove features and information at any time. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, completeness or accuracy.

Disclaimer and limitation

To the fullest extent permitted by law, HikeIt Hawaii is provided “as is” without warranties. Kilo Kai Solutions LLC is not responsible for injuries, losses or damages arising from outdoor conditions, access decisions, third-party information or reliance on estimates provided by the service.
